We all know that creativity is one of the essential qualities for artists, and although not all of us understand the creative world, the majority of us want to have a “think outside the box” mentality.
But creativity is not only about art. It can help us shift our perception, solve issues, make us use our emotional and social intelligence and is fundamentally an essential component of health and happiness.
Want to develop your creativity with little to no effort?
Start asking correct and concise questions. Make sure you always ask the right questions when faced with an issue, be it personal or professional. If you don’t understand the issue, then how will you come up with a solution?
Communicate clearly! When communication is efficient, it leaves everybody satisfied and feeling accomplished. There will be no more room for misunderstanding!
Be open minded and available. Don’t reject from the start somebody’s ideas. An open mind perceives all the information fairly and you will see a gradual willingness in listening or accepting different ideas or opinions.
Don’t let mistakes go unnoticed without trying to learn from them.
Don’t sink into a routine. If you feel tired or fed up with your current activity, leave everything aside for a while and do something which makes you happy such as meditating, reading, exercising, or even going out with your friends and family. Letting your mind unwind will make you come up with more and more creative ideas.
Start challenging yourself to create something every day. Although some days you’re left sweating or exhausted don’t quit.
Work hard for yourself and you’ll start noticing the difference.
